(''Consultant"), agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Professional Services for SeaTown Pedestrian Improvements (Project No. E12134): Original Contract j June 21, 2016 Motion No. M2016-068 $157,806.71 In the Original Contract, Exhibit "A", Section I Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached Amendment No.1, Exhibit"A". In the Original Contract, Section III Fees shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in the attached Amendment No. 1, Exhibit "A" for a fee not to exceed $28,137.32, for a total restated fee not to exceed $185,944.03. All other terms and conditions of the June 21, 2016 Contract for Professional Services between the City and Consultant,and of any amendments to that contract which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full force and effect. S.E.A. District) Pedestrian Improvements (Bond 2012) Project No. E12134 Contract Amendment No. 1 —Additionally-Requested Services LJA Project No. C007-13033 Dear Ms. Gavlik: I. SCOPE OF WORK We have prepared Contract Amendment No. 1 (CA1) to our S.E.A. District Pedestrian Improvements NE Contract to cover additionally-requested engineering efforts for the following: 7. TxDOT Add'I Docs & Bid Items: Efforts include conversion of City Standard Bid Items to TxDOT Standard Bid Items and modification of the plan quantity sheet, the Opinion of Probable Cost and the Bid Form. No other modifications or additions are included in this item. 8. TxDOT Checklist: Efforts include coordination with the City for the completion of TxDOT's Local Government Project — Plan Development Review Checklist. This item will be completed on a Time and Materials Basis. 9. Streetlight Coordination and Modifications to the PSE: Efforts include coordination with the City and the City's streetlight consultant to add plan sheets, specifications, and bid items to LJA's PSE for the project. 10.Addition of New Signage to the PSE: Efforts include coordination with the City to identify the new signage requirements and modification to LJA's PSE to include the new signage. 11.Additional Proiect Submittal: Efforts include the preparation of an additional submittal package for TxDOT review and comment and for City's verification of addressed comments, and addressing subsequent comments from TxDOT and the City. LJA proposes to perform the above-described work on a Fixed Fee basis, except for Item 8, as described below in Section III. BASIS OF COMPENSATION. Not including the time required for the review of the additional submittal or response times from the City's streetlight consultant, LJA will require an additional four(4)weeks to the original schedule to accomplish the additional work. Any engineering efforts requested outside of the stated scope of work will require another amendment to the contract and additional fees. III. BASIS OF COMPENSATION LJA proposes to perform the above-described scope of work on a Fixed Fee basis, except for Item 8, as shown below and on the attached"Summary of Fees".
