AMENDMENT NO. 1
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation ("City")and Dykema Architects, Inc.
("Consultant"), agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Professional Services for City Hall Elevator
Refurbish (Project No. E164221.
Original Contract November 2, 2016 Administrative Approval $8,000.
In the Original Contract, Exhibit A, Scope of Services. shall be amended as set forth in the attached Amendment
No.1, Exhibit A.
In the Original Contract, Exhibit A. Fees, shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in the attached
Amendment No. 1, Exhibit A for a fee not to exceed $22,540, for a total restated fee not to exceed $30,540.
All other terms and conditions of the November 2, 2016 Contract for Professional Services between the City and
Consultant. and of any amendments to that contract,which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full
force and effect.

RE: E16422 City Hall Elevator Refurbish
Estimated construction budget$322,000.00
Dear Mr.McCord,
We appreciate the opportunity to offer to provide the Architectural Services for the above
referenced project.The project consists of replacing the elevator hoist machines, hoist cables
and related accessories for the elevators at City Hall. Fire protection issues will also be
addressed. We anticipate having our elevator consultants Person Hahn participate in the
work.
In consideration for the scope described above, we propose a fee of $ 22,540.00. Our
consultant will be included in this amount.
Invoices will be forwarded to your office, along with time sheets, based upon the time spent
during each billing period and will be due upon receipt of each invoice.
