CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AMENDMENT NO. 1
The City of Corpus Christi,Texas,a Texas home-rule municipal corporation("City")and HDR Engineering,Inc.
("Consultant"),agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Professional Services for IDIQ Major Ditch
Improvements-La Voila Creek Storm Water Modeling and Improvements(Project No.E12191):
I_Original Contract I September 12,2017 Administrative Approval I $20,012
In the Original Contract, Exhibit A,Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached Amendment
No.1, Exhibit A.
In the Original Contract, Fees shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in the attached
Amendment No. 1, Exhibit A for a fee not to exceed $5,000, for a total restated fee not to exceed$25,012.
All other terms and conditions of the September 12,2017 Contract for Professional Services between the City and
Consultant,and of any amendments to that contract,which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full
force and effect.

RE: PROPOSAL FOR REVIEW OF CITY PROJECT E12191, "IDIQ MAJOR DITCH
IMPROVEMENTS—LA VOLLA CREEK MODELING AND IMPROVEMENT"
Dear Mr. Edmonds:
In accordance with our correspondence on August 15, 2017, HDR is requesting a contract
amendment for this project. The services performed under this amendment would consist of the
following:
Perform conceptual analyses to evaluate the level of flow improvements and associated WSEL
reductions in La Voila Creek if the brush is cleared from the creek.We will model the September
2010 flood event to compare flood levels in the creek with and without the brush, and compare
the results to the 1999 proposed channel improvements that lower the WSEL at Saratoga by 4.7
ft. Our results will be documented in a 2-3 page memorandum (with draft and final submittals).
These additional services will be performed for$5,000, increasing our total fee from $20,012 to
$25,012 as shown in the table below.
