AMENDMENT NO. 1
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation ("City")and HDR Engineering, Inc.
("Consultant"),agree to the following amendment to the Contract for Professional Services for Utilities Rate Model
Update FY 2018 (Project No. E17009):

In the Original Contract, Exhibit A, Scope of Services, shall be amended as set forth in the attached Amendment
No.1, Exhibit A.
In the Original Contract. Exhibit A, Fees,shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in the attached
Amendment No. 1, Exhibit A for a fee not to exceed p0, for a total restated fee not to exceed $49,740.
All other terms and conditions of the March 7, 2017 Contract for Professional Services between the City and
Consultant,and of any amendments to that contract,which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full
force and effect.

Re: Amendment Number 1 - Utilities Rate Model Update FY 2018(E17009)
Dear Mr. Deng:
As directed by City of Corpus Christi staff, the intent of this letter is to amend the current
contract for updating the City's utility rate model for the FY2018 time period. This
amendment does not change the total value of the contract, nor does it amend the original
scope of the contract. The sole purpose of this amendment is to reallocate the contract cost
between the project tasks.
The new task contract amounts are shown in Attachment A.
