CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AMENDMENT NO. 2
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas. a Texas home-rule municipal corporation ("City") and Urban Engineering
("Consultant"). agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Professional Services for La Volla Creek
Drainage Channel Excavation (Project No. E10200)
Original Contract January 10, 2012 Motion No. M2012-003 I $138,000
Amendment No. 1 February 17,2015 Motion No. M2015-020 $197,646
In the Original Contract. Exhibit A, Section I. Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached
Amendment No.2, Exhibit A.
In the Original Contract, Section III. Fees shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in the attached
Amendment No. 2, Exhibit A for a fee not to exceed $7,200, for a total restated fee not to exceed $342,846.
All other terms and conditions of the January 10, 2012 Contract for Professional Services between the City and
Consultant,and of any amendments to that contract,which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full
force and effect.

Subject: E10200 La Volla Creek Drainage Channel Excavation, Contract Amendment 2
Dear Mr. Edmonds:
The city's project manager, Daniel Deng, has requested that Urban Engineering provide
a supplement to the Design Memorandum for the La Volla Creek Drainage Channel
Excavation Project. It is my understanding that HDR Engineering has completed a study
that has revised the tailwater elevation that Urban Engineering used to complete its
hydraulic study of the anticipated benefits of the La Volla Creek Drainage Channel
Excavation Project.
Therefore, we propose to re-run the hydraulic model and provide revised exhibits and
conclusions based on the new information. Our findings will be presented in a supplement
to the existing Design Memorandum. We do not anticipate the need to revise plans or
specifications. However, we do anticipate the need to update the city's contract documents
to current standards and revised bidding information. We propose to do this for an
additional lump sum fee of $7,200. If this is acceptable, please amend our contract
accordingly. Thank you.
