Consultant shall perform services on the project described below as provided in this Task Order and in the Agreement. This Task Order shall not be binding until it has been properly signed by both parties. Upon execution,this Task Order shall supplement the Agreement as it pertains to the project described below. PROJECT NAME/NUMBER: On-Going Modeling Support for Maintenance of Lines, E14058 1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION—This project provides modeling support of City projects and decisions involving the water distribution system, as requested by the City. 2. SCOPE OF SERVICES —Staff Training and Modeling Support 3. COMPENSATION —The total amount not to exceed for Task Order No. 2A only is $6,107. This Task Order is approved and Consultant may proceed. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement, and of any amendment to that contract, which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full force and effect. Ot -_ . • • SCOPE OF WORK Project No. E14058 On-Going Modeling Support for Maintenance Lines Supplemental Task Authorization No.2A—Staff Training and Modeling Support PURPOSE The purpose of Task Authorization No. 2 dated May 26, 2015 was to provide training and hydraulic modeling support to City Staff in relation to on-going water distribution system projects at the time. The scope of services is documented in the Attachment B of the original executed task authorization. This supplement task authorization will serve as a continuation of the same services outlined in the original agreement and aim at conducting a water model training workshop for up to ten(10)City staff members in using the City of Corpus Christi Hydraulic Water Model Update dated June 12, 2017. The services will cover developing training materials and conducting a two, 1/2 day training sessions to facilitate an understanding of the water model update.Training will include face-to-face instruction on the model update process,model setup and distribution system analysis. SCOPE OF WORK UNDER SUPPLEMENTAL AUTHORIZATION ADDITIONAL SERVICES: ITEM 1 —Staff Training and Modeling Support Task A-Develop Training and Reference Materials. The Engineer will perform the following: 1. Review of existing training manuals. 2. Prepare training manuals based on the New Innovyze Water Modeling Interface-InfoWater 3. Develop a training agenda for the hydraulic model training workshop.The agenda shall include: a. Basics of hydraulic modeling. b. Overview of InfoWater software,menus and toolbars. c. Modeling scenarios. d. Running a simulation using the current model and e. Modeling Results Task B-Conduct Training Workshop Engineer will conduct a 1 day training workshop for up to ten (10)City Staff. The training will focus on the City of Corpus Water Model Update process. 1 'pUS Ch O +, LNV „, DELIVERABLES The engineer shall prepare and provide one(1)electronic and three(3)hard copies of the Training Manuals. SCHEDULE The Engineer's services shall be performed in a timely manner consistent with sound professional practices. Potential modeling scenarios to be covered during training sessions include: • Pressures/Rows • Firef low Analysis • Analyzing Proposed Water infrastructure • New Developments • Pipe Break • Creating a Hydraulic Grade Line Profile • AbandonIng/Retiring infrastructure • Tracking Water Age • Contaminated Water Source(Source Tracing) Task A and B Assumptions: • At the time of request,the City shall provide a description of the problem to be analyzed during the training session. • Training sessions will be provided on an as needed basis • The Engineer will provide up to 40 hours of hydraulic water model training • Individual training sessions shall be a minimum of 4 hours in duration. • The City shall provide a two week(14 calendar day)notice prior to a requested training session DELIVERABLES No formal training documentation wil be provided for training sessions. The fees for the Additional Services will not exceed those identified and will be full and total compensation for all services outlined above, and for all expenses incurred in performing these services.
