Stevens Water Treatment Plant. which is rated for 161.5 million gallons per day (MGD). The plant has a modem computer based Distributive Control Systems (DCS) with multiple controllers, operation stations. process instrument measurements and analytical instrumentation. The plant is one of the state's largest and requires both automation and human decision making to maintain efficient operations. The purpose of this Task Authorization is to assist the City Engineering Services map current operational processes and data management systems that feed information into the control systems of the ONSWTP operation. The project will identify opportunities for improved process control of data and decision processes for the plant. SCOPE OF WORK ADDITIONAL SERVICES: Phase 0100—O.N. Stevens Water Treatment Plant Analysis and Optimization The Engineer will perform the following: Task 0101-Project Management I. Attend meetings with City Staff and Sub Consultants to ensure all project requirements and city standards are met and proper coordination takes place. 2. Prepare and distribute meeting notes to City Staff and Sub Consultants. 3. Prepare and submit project invoices to the City and coordinate with City's Project Manager. Task 0102-Engineering and Programming Phase Services I. Project Development • Scope development • Project scheduling and administration 2. Support Requirements • Site meetings • Miscellaneous Communications 3. Pre-Work for Mapping Session(s) • Create or modify Mapping Methodology • Create information package for participants 4. Client Rollout Support • Support for Work Product rollout DELIVERABLES The Engineer will prepare a DRAFT Document Implementation Plan and a Document Recommendation Report for the City's review. Upon receipt of comments.the Engineer will incorporate comments into the FINAL documents and provide one(I)hard copy and one(1)electronic copy to the designated City Task Authorization Manager specified under this authorization. SCHEDULE The Engineer's services shall be performed in a timely manner consistent with sound professional practices. The Engineer will complete the work according to the following schedule: Activity Completion Date Contract Execution-Notice to Proceed(NTP) TBD Task 0101-Project Management 60 days after NTP Task 0102-Engineering& Programming Phase Services 60 days after NTP The time limits set forth in the schedule shall include allowances for reasonable and expected review time by the City and approval by authorities having jurisdiction over this project, and shall not be allowed as cause for delay or adjustments to the schedule. Delays caused by review times by the City exceeding those anticipated by the Engineer's schedule are cause for adjustments in the schedule. Any adjustments made to the agreed upon schedule shall be made in writing and accepted by both parties. The Engineer shall begin work immediately upon receipt of the executed Task Authorization and/or Notice to Proceed(written or emailed). FEE The total anticipated amount for Task Authorization No. 3 is 512,172.00 as shown in ATTACHMENT A. The services for Task 0101-Project Management Services will be provided on a Time and Material(T&M) basis as the project is moved towards completion. The services for Task 0102-Engineering&Programming Phase Services will be provided on a Lump Sum basis.
