AMENDMENT NO. 1
to
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation ("City") and Munoz
Engineering ("Consultant"), agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Professional
Services for J. C. Elliott Landfill Site Improvements (Project No. E17060):
Original Contract October 10, 2017 Administrative Approval $28,000.00
In the Original Contract, Article I. Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached
Amendment No. 1, Exhibit "A".
In the Original Contract, Article III., Paragraph 3.1 Compensation shall be amended based on the
modified scope of services in the attached Amendment No. 1, Exhibit "A" for a fee not to exceed
$7,500, for a total restated fee not to exceed $35,500.
All other terms and conditions of the October 10, 2017 Contract for Professional Services between
the City and Consultant, and of any amendments to that contract, which are not specifically
addressed herein shall r ain in force and effect.

E17060 JC Elliott Site Improvement- Platting Amendment No. 1
Gentlemen:
Munoz Engineering, LCC (ME, LLC) is pleased to submit this proposal for engineering and
inspection services. Engineering and Inspection shall be performed in accordance with adopted
design codes for the City of Corpus Christi being International Building Code 2015 (IBC 2015).
ME, LLC proposes to perform said services and all acts attendant thereto with a reasonable
standard of care. Our proposed scope of work is as follows:
JC Elliot Landfill -Collection Center Building Platting:
• Prepare a topographic survey of the existing conditions with contours based on the
boundary limits indicated on by the site plan (-1.00 Acres, Only).
• Prepare a metes and bounds for the New Property to be used create a New Warranty
Deed to reduce the property size.
• Assist the City of Corpus Christi Legal Department with development of Metes and
Bounds only.
• Prepare a plat for the purpose per the limits defined in the Metes and Bounds
mentioned above signed and sealed by a Texas Registered Professional Land
Surveyor and submit to the Development Services. The plat cannot be handled
administratively, which means it will have to go through the planning
commission. Attendance of the plats staff meeting will be performed, whereby we get
input from the utility companies, city departments, AEP, etc.
Notes:
1. City to provide all supporting document for platting.
2. Administrative filing and platting fees to be paid by Client.
3. Any design for public improvements related to the plat will need to be
done as a separate task.
ME, LLC proposes to perform the above-listed Scope of Work for the following lump sum fees,
unless specify noted otherwise:
