Director of Engineering Services City Of Corpus Christi 1201 Leopard Street Corpus Christi,TX 78401 RE: Amendment 4 Chaparral Street Phase 2 from Schatzell Street to Taylor Street(Bond 2014) E15107 Dear Mr. Edmonds, HDR is requesting a zero dollar amendment to cover the budget overrun of the construction administration phase for Chaparral St. Phase 2 — Schatzell St. to Taylor St. (Bond 2014) Project No. E15107. HDR has kept the City of Corpus Christi Engineering Services informed through e-mails and progress reports of the construction administration phase budget status as we approached and exceeded the budget. We have withheld invoicing the construction administration overrun until a zero dollar amendment is executed between the City of Corpus Christi Engineering Services and HDR. The anticipated budget was exceeded due to requests by the Engineering Services and Construction Department to modify existing signing and striping sheets, add new signing and striping sheets, and the associated approval process. Please note that HDR has yet to complete record drawings for the project. Please refer to the attached Exhibit C. An amount of$7,828.46 has been reallocated in Amendment 4 resulting in a zero dollar change while providing HDR the ability to cover the budget overrun and complete the record drawings.
