AMENDMENT NO. 2
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi,Texas, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation ("City")and Freese and Nichols,Inc.
("Consultant"),agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Professional Services for Avers Street from
Ocean Drive to Alameda Street BOND 2014 (Project No. E13092):
Original Contract March 18, 2014 Ordinance No. 030127 $811,935.00
Amendment No. 1 September 30, 2015 Administrative Approval $49,744.00
In the Original Contract, Exhibit "A", Section I. Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached
Amendment No. 2, Exhibit"A".
In the Original Contract,Article III Compensation shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in the
attached Amendment No. 2, Exhibit "A" for a fee not to exceed $0.00, for a total restated fee not to exceed
$861,679.00.
All other terms and conditions of the March 18, 2014 Contract for Professional Services between the City and
Consultant,and of any amendments to that contract,which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full
force and effect.

Amendment No. 2
Dear Mr. Edmonds,
Freese and Nichols, Inc. (FNI)would respectfully request your consideration of our proposed
Amendment#2 for Ayers Street—Ocean Drive to Alameda Street(City Project No. E13092). This
amendment is requesting approval to move funds previously designated for Warranty Phase to offset
additional costs for Traffic Control. The amendment includes additional services to prepare new traffic
control plans, revisions, and modifications to the traffic control drawings for the phasing and
coordination of the simultaneously constructed projects of Ayers Street,Alameda Street, and Staples
Street improvements. The amendment includes additional stakeholder meetings and coordination with
Traffic Engineering and the City's design consultant for Alameda Street and Staples Street projects. The
proposed scope is further defined below:
Amendment No. 2 revises project scope for Ayers Street—Ocean Drive to Alameda Street (Project No.
E13092)as follows:
• In the original contract, Exhibit "A", Part III. Fees, Section B. Additional Services, Fees shall be
amended to transfer funds budgeted for Item No. 4 — Warranty Phase to offset the costs of
proposed scope changes in Additional Services, Item No. 8—Traffic Control.
Delete: Additional Services- Item No.4 Warranty Phase in the amount of($8,757.00)
Add: Additional Services- Item No. 8 Traffic Control in the amount of$8,757.00
