AMENDMENT NO. 2
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, hereinafter called "CITY," and Spire Consulting Group, LLC.,
hereinafter called "CONSULTANT," agree to the following amendment to the Contract for Professional
Services for Horne Road - Avers to Port (Project No. E12100) as authorized and administratively
amended by:
Original Contract _ May 30, 2018 Administrative Approval $49,999.00
Amendment No. 1 August 8, 2018 Administrative Approval $20,000.00
IN THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT, EXHIBIT A, SCOPE OF SERVICES, shall be modified as shown in
the attached Exhibit A.
IN THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT, COMPENSATION shall be modified as shown in the attached Exhibit
A for an additional fee not to exceed $100,000.00 for a total restated fee not to exceed $169,999.00.
All other terms and conditions of the May 30, 2018 contract between the "CITY" and "CONSULTANT"
and of any amendments to that contract which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full
force and effect.

Hi Jim and Mark,
We appreciate the opportunity to be of further assistance on the Salinas v. City of Corpus case.
Spire is pleased to submit its proposal to the City of Corpus Christi to perform a detailed
schedule analysis and produce a report of findings for the Horne Road project. Spire's services
will generally consist of the following:
• Approach Development
• Document Analysis & Management
• Independent Delay Analysis
• Report of Findings Production
• Client/Atty Support
• 2rtl Deposition Preparation & Deposition
• Trial Preparation
We anticipate performing this analysis and report production for a budget not to exceed
$100,000, on a time and material basis as applied to the following rate structure:
Principal $350 per hour
Managing Consultant $310 per hour
Senior Consultant $270 per hour
Consultant $230 per hour
Associate Consultant $190 per hour
Administrative $ 70 per hour
Please note that this proposed budget does not include a trial testimony presentation or travel
expenses.
