AMENDMENT NO. 2
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation ("City") and Hanson Professional
Services, Inc. ("Consultant"), agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Professional Services for
South Staples Street from Kostoryz Road to Baldwin Boulevard (Project No. 18041A):
Original Contract July 17, 2018 Administrative Approval $38,500.00
Amendment No. 1 August 21, 2018 M2018-140 $1,154,128.14
In the Amendment No. 1,Article I.Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached Amendment No.
2, Exhibit"A".
In the Amendment No. 1,Article III. Compensation shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in
the attached Amendment No. 2, Exhibit"A"for a fee not to exceed $29,707.15,for a total restated fee not to exceed
$1,222,335.29.
All other terms and conditions of the July 17, 2018 Contract for Professional Services between the City and
Consultant,and of any amendments to that contract,which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full
force and effect.

Re: Contract Amendment#2 Request
18041A- Staples Street from Kostoryz Rd to Baldwin Blvd
Dear Mr. Edmonds:
On behalf of Hanson we would like to thank you for the opportunity to continue assisting the City with
the completion of this project. We are requesting that our contract me amended to include the video
assessment of some existing storm water lines and wastewater lines.
We intend to contract with Video Pipeline Inspections to complete the assessment. The assessment
will include cleaning/video of 1470 LF of wastewater lines and video of 2,185 LF of Storm Water lines.
A copy of the quote from the sub-contractor is attached. The cost to complete the assessment is a
follows:
1. Wastewater assessment $16,779.95
2. Storm Water assessment $12,927.20
Total $29,707.15
A summary table is attached that breaks out the fees and brings the new stated contract amount to
$1,222,335.29. In an effort to meet the schedule, we are requesting that this effort be expedited as
soon as possible. A copy of the current project schedule is also attached. We will continue to work
towards meeting all submittal dates and deadlines.
Once again we thank you for the opportunity to assist you with this project and we look forward to
working with you, City Staff and the City Council. Should you have any questions or require any
