CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AMENDMENT NO. 1
The City of Corpus Christi,Texas,a Texas home-rule municipal corporation("City")and LNV, Inc., ("Consultant"),
agree to the following amendment to the Contract for Professional Services for project E16458 Restoration of SEA
District Water Features
Original Contract May 30, 2019 j Ordinance 031769 $364,100.00
In the Original Contract, Exhibit A, Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached Amendment No.
1, Exhibit A.
In the Original Contract, Exhibit A, Fees shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in the attached
Amendment No. 1, Exhibit A for a fee not to exceed$12,500.00,for a total restated fee not to exceed$376,600.00.
All other terms and conditions of May 30,2019 Contract for Professional Services between the City and Consultant,
and of any amendments to that contract, which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full force and
effect.

Contract Amendment No. 1
Dear Mr. Edmonds:
In response to your request in email dated January 31, 2019, LNV prepared and delivered, on
February 11, 2019, a letter report that details temporary repairs to the Water Gardens Fountain.
As authorized in the same email, we have prepared this Contract Amendment No. 1 for a total fee
not to exceed $12,500 to cover our efforts to prepare the letter report.
Project Description:
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, hereinafter called "City", and LNV, Inc., hereinafter called
"Engineer", agree to the following contract for engineering and consulting services to perform tasks
related to the preparation of a letter report with cost estimates that details recommendations for
restoring operational status to the Water Gardens Fountain as soon as possible.
Scope of Services:
The Engineer's Scope of Services includes the following:
• Coordinate with utility contractor and City Parks Department staff;
• Conduct site visits with Parks Department Staff and contractor to observe existing
conditions and discuss issues with Park Staff;
• Perform hydraulic calculations to determine appropriate pump parameters;
• Coordinate with pump manufacturers;
• Prepare preliminary equipment and pipe layouts and site plans;
• Prepare Opinion of Probable Costs; and,
• Prepare Letter Report of our findings and recommendations.
Deliverables:
The deliverable for this Contract is a PDF of the Letter Report and accompanying exhibits. No
hard copies shall be delivered to the City.

Fees:
Engineering efforts as described herein will be performed on a Time and Materials basis with a
Not-to-Exceed fee of $12,500. Billing rates shall be in accordance with our Standard Rate
Schedule (Attachment 1).
