AMENDMENT NO. 3
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation ("City") and Govind DeveloamentL
LLC.("Consultant"),agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Professional Services for North Padre
Island Beach Access Road 3A and 2 BOND 2014, Prop. 2 (Project No. E15111):
Original Contract May 31, 2016 Motion No. M2016-056 $73,935.00
Amendment No. 1 May 4;2017 Administrative Approval $16,150.00
Amendment No. 2 November 13, 2018 Motion No. M2018-215 $59,350.00
In the Original Contract, Exhibit"A", Section I. Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached
Amendment No. 3, Exhibit"A".
In the Original Contract, Section 4. Fee shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in the attached
Amendment No.3,Exhibit"A"for a fee not to exceed$8,500.00,fora total restated fee not to exceed$157,935.00.
All other terms and conditions of the May 31, 2016 Contract for Professional Services between the City and
Consultant,and of any amendments to that contract,which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full
force and effect _ /

RE: Amendment No.3 for Detail Design Engineering Services
E15111-North Padre Island Beach Access Roads(3A and 2) (Bond 2014)
Dear Mr. Edmonds,
Govind Development, LLC (GDL) is pleased to provide our engineering fee proposal amending the base
contract for North Padre Island Beach Access Roads (3A and 2) (E15111), to support the continued
hurricane recovery efforts by providing our services for a detailed additional design, as requested by the
City of Corpus Christi, Department of Engineering Services. Below is the scope of work based on
discussion with City staff.
Scope of Work
The design work includes the additional services related to the following:
(Zahn Road Beach Access):
➢ Revised Beginning of Project(BOP) to include the brick-pavers and curb and gutter at the end of
the asphalt roadway approaches. Includes two separate existing roadways (approximately
300LF each) separated by a raised median approaching the swing-gate entrance to the beach
access road.
➢ Additional survey for existing underground utilities within the extension (water, wastewater, gas
and manholes), which have facilities within the requested extension.
➢ Additional CAD for the topography sheets, plan sheets, profile sheets, and striping sheets.
➢ Geotechnical analysis for pavement section on the extension.
➢ Permit exhibit revisions(DPP& BCC).
(Beach Access Road 3A):
➢ Meetings and design for new beachfront waterline (approximately 1,075LF) connecting to
existing waterline at Access Road 3A(by request).
