AMENDMENT NO. 3
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi,Texas,a Texas home-rule municipal corporation ("City")and Freese and Nichols,Inc.
("Consultant"), agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Professional Services for Everhart Road
from SPID to Holly Road (Project No. 18014A):
Original Contract June 12, 2018 Resolution No. 031445 $823,700.00
Amendment No. 1 February 13, 2019 Administrative Approval $49,969.00
Amendment No. 2 April 8, 2019 Administrative Approval $48,493.00
In the Original Contract, Exhibit"A", Section I. Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached
Amendment No. 3, Exhibit"A".
In the Original Contract,Article III Compensation shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in the
attached Amendment No. 3, Exhibit"A"for a fee not to exceed $11,740.00, for a total restated fee not to exceed
$933,902.00.
All other terms and conditions of the June 12, 2018 Contract for Professional Services between the City and
Consultant,and of any amendments to that contract,which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full
force and effect.

RE: Everhart Road—Holly Road to South Padre Island Drive -Amendment No. 3
City Project No. 18014A
Dear Mr. Edmonds,
Freese and Nichols, Inc. (FNI) is pleased to submit an amendment to our professional services contract to
provide additional bid phase services for the Everhart Road—Holly Road to South Padre Island Drive,City
Project 18014A for your consideration. This amendment includes additional bid phase services for the 36"
water line to support the project. This amendment will include the following services:
1. Bid Phase
a. Provide additional bid phase services to support the design of the new 36"water line. Review and
prepare responses to all pre-bid questions and submissions related to the 36"waterline. Prepare
necessary addenda and revisions to the plans and specifications for the approved changes prior to
bidding. Assist the City in reviewing the bids by prospective bidders.
b. Prepare additional design drawings to add a new 36" gate valve and water vault at the
intersection of Curtis Clark. Include necessary tie-in details and prepare necessary design
modifications to storm water and other utility lines on Everhart Road to accommodate the
additional 36"gate valve.

Basic Services Fees
1. Bid Phase $11,740.00
Freese and Nichols, Inc. respectfully requests a lump sum fee in the amount of$11,740.00 to perform
these services.
