To that effort, we request a zero dollar amendment to Chaparral St. Phase 2 — Schatzell St. to Taylor St. (Bond 2014) Project No. E15107 to accomplish the description of work which follows. HDR will assist the City with construction management on an as-needed basis, as directed by the City, in the amount of 8-24 hours/week. Assistance may include tasks such as: • Change order cost proposal review and assessment for final recommendation to City Construction Engineer • Management of RFI responses • Assist with recommendations of contractor pay applications • Assist with in-field resolutions for project issues • Assist with managing Construction Department Resources • Assist with leading pre-construction meetings • Assist with leading construction project meetings • Attending and participating in City Staff coordination meetings • Assist with contractor escalation resolution process • Review contractor time-delay claims for recommendation on resolution to City Construction Engineer • Review submitted contractor baseline schedules and corresponding subsequent construction progress schedules to update City Construction Engineer on various Bond Project Progress HDR will make David Marotta available to provide these services under the previously negotiated hourly rate of$123.87 for the Engineer IV category from Exhibit D of Amendment 1. Please refer to the attached Exhibit C "Fee Summary". An amount of $51,250.44 will be reallocated in Amendment 5 resulting in a zero dollar change for a total restated fee not to exceed $716,894.00.
