IN THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT, COMPENSATION shall be modified as shown in the attached Exhibit A for a fee not to exceed $300,000.00. Box 9277 Corpus Christi,TX 78469-9277 Re: Emergency Wastewater Support of 54" line located at intersection of Greenwood Dr. and SPID (19078A) Dear Mr. Edmonds: As per your request, Freese and Nichols, Inc. (FNI)will provide professional services to support the emergency response and investigation for the 54"wastewater line located at the Greenwood/SPID intersection.The FNI team met with City and TxDOT staff on 8/22 and have begun the data collection process and is formulating"next steps"for temporary bypass operations which will be followed by final design solutions. We will provide emergency response services in response to the City's requests on a time and material basis. Please see attached FNI Compensation Schedule of Classification Charges. These services will be provided up to a fee not-to-exceed(NTE)$300,000. This fee is based on direction from City staff for the emergency response, planning, and development of an approach for a long-term solution. After the temporary bypass operation, inspection,and repair of the damaged pipe,our team would be more than happy to further assist the City by submitting a final design, bid and construction phase proposal.
