AMENDMENT NO. 1 to the
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, hereinafter called "CITY," and Dykema Architects, Inc., hereinafter
called "CONSULTANT," agree to the following amendment to the Contract for Professional Services
Construct Pavilion Packery Channel Boat Launch (Project No. 18144A) as authorized and
administratively amended by:
L Original Contract November 6, 2018 Administrative Approval $24,000.00
IN THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT, EXHIBIT A, SCOPE OF SERVICES, shall be modified as shown in
the attached Exhibit A.
IN THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT, ARTICLE III. COMPENSATION shall be modified as shown in the
attached Exhibit A for an additional fee not to exceed $2,720 for a total restated fee not to exceed
$26,720.
All other terms and conditions of the November 6, 2018 contract between the "CITY" and
"CONSULTANT" and of any amendments to that contract which are not specifically addressed herein
shall remain in full force and effect.

Additional Services -Windstorm Certification
Scope of work:
1. Submit a WPI-1 form to the Texas Department of Insurance for Windstorm Certification on the
Entire Buildings'Envelope and Foundation.
Pavilion (-2,000 SqFt)
2. Submittal Review as follows:
Foundation Shop Drawings
Structural Steel Shop Drawings
Wood Framing and Roof Decking
Roofing Covering
Construction Materials Testing per International Building Code
3. Perform necessary inspections during construction to visually verify foundation,wall framing, steel
framing, roofing,window, doors and exterior covering.

4. Contractor to leave all window and door identification labels on until the WPI-2 has been issued.
5. Submit WPI-2-BC-5 form upon completion of construction followed by receiving a WPI-8
Windstorm Certificate from TDI.
