This Task Order pertains to a Master Services Agreement for Professional Services by and between City of Corpus
Christi,Texas(City)and LJA Engineering, (Consultant)dated June 19,2018(Agreement)by Motion No.M2018-
101. Consultant shall perform services on the project described below as provided in this Task Order and in the
Agreement. This Task Order shall not be binding until it has been properly signed by both parties. Upon execution,
this Task Order shall supplement the Agreement as it pertains to the project described below.
PROJECT NAME/NUMBER: 18100A Citywide Storm Water Infrastructure Rehabilitation
1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION:The project scope includes the development and implementation of a City-wide
Storm Water infrastructure rehabilitation and replacement program.
2. SCOPE OF SERVICES: The scope of services is more fully described in Exhibit A.
3. COMPENSATION: The total amount not to exceed $14,200.00.
This Task Order is approved, and Consultant may proceed. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement
remain in full force and effect.

Dear Mr. Edmonds:
LJA Engineering, Inc. (LJA) is pleased to provide this proposal for performing a preliminary
investigation into the erosion issues occurring at a storm water outfall structure on Leopard St.
between Callicoatte Road and Violet Road on the east bound shoulder lane. According to City
Staff the existing outfall structure has been compromised and currently the associated concrete
riprap and adjacent roadway are being undermined. LJA intends to perform a field investigation
of the outfall and prepare a Technical Letter stating the deficiencies, recommended
improvements options along with associated estimated opinions of probable construction costs.
Once the recommendations have been approved by the City, LJA will prepare Delivery Order#3
(DO#3) so that the repairs may be constructed.
The following is the scope of services we anticipate will be required.
SCOPE OF SERVICES:
100 Field investigation and data review of subject outfall area.
200 Prepare a Technical Letter to include the following and submit to City Staff
• Observed deficiencies and statement of the issues
• Recommended improvement options
• Opinions of probable construction costs for recommended improvements
300 Receive and address City Staff comments and finalize the Technical Letter
400 Prepare Draft DO#3 package for City Staff review and comment
500 Receive and address City Staff comments and finalize DO#3
600 Conduct Site Walk Through with Contractor for DO#3
700 Review Submittals from Contractor as Required
800 Perform Construction Administration
