This Task Order pertains to a Master Services Agreement for Professional Services by and between the City of
Corpus Christi,Texas(City)and LJA Engineering, (Consultant)dated June 19,2018(Agreement)by Motion No.
M2018-101. Consultant shall perform services on the project described below as provided in this Task Order and in
the Agreement. This Task Order shall not be binding until it has been properly signed by both parties. Upon
execution, this Task Order shall supplement the Agreement as it pertains to the project described below.
PROJECT NAME/NUMBER: 18100A Citywide Storm Water Infrastructure Rehabilitation
(Williams Ditch Phase 1 Studyl
1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION:The project scope includes the development and implementation of a City-wide
Storm Water infrastructure rehabilitation and replacement program.
2. SCOPE OF SERVICES: The scope of services is more fully described in Exhibit A.
3. COMPENSATION: The total amount not to exceed $41,620.00.
This Task Order is approved, and Consultant may proceed. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement
remain in full force and effect.

Dear Mr. Edmonds:
LJA Engineering, Inc. (LJA) is pleased to provide this proposal for investigation and preparation
of a drainage study for the referenced project. The following is the scope of services we
anticipate will be required.
SCOPE OF SERVICES:
For Task Order #7 LJA will conduct an investigation and prepare a drainage study analysis to
evaluate the cost, feasibility and environmental impact associated with two options for improving
tailwater conditions of the Williams Ditch. The first option will evaluate hand clearing, grubbing
and brush removal of the densely vegetated outfall area. The second option will evaluate
mechanically clearing an area to facilitate a channelized continuation of the ditch to the TxDOT
culverts crossing under S.P.I.D. Pre and post improvement flow analysis along with
construction costs for each option will be presented in a Technical Memorandum. We intend to
perform the following tasks to achieve the scope mentioned above:
100 Meetings with City Staff and internal project coordination
200 Review existing data and record drawings
300 Environmental permitting analysis and identification of plant species
400 Wetland determination
500 Aerial drone lidar compilation and on the ground control surveying
600 Preparation of Draft Technical Memorandum to include two options for improving
tailwater conditions at the outfall of the Williams Ditch and the following associated
information for each option:
• Pre and post flow analysis
• Recommendation of improvements and associated cost estimates
• Easement acquisition discussion
• Environmental impact discussion
