Motion awarding Amendment No. 2 to a contract with Freese and Nichols, Inc. for
engineering services to design and prepare construction documents for Spillway
Electrical Upgrades, Outlet Tower Improvements, new maintenance facility and other
safety and maintenance improvements at the Choke Canyon Dam in the amount of
$600,330, for a total contract value not to exceed $648,482, effective upon issuance of
notice to proceed, with funding approved and available from Water Supply 2020 Capital
Improvement Program Budget.

I, the Director of Financial Services of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly authorized
representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officers that the money required
for the current fiscal year's portion of the contract, agreement, obligation or expenditure described
below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from which it is to be drawn, and has
not been appropriated for any other purpose. Future payments are subject to annual appropriation
by the City Council.
