BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents necessary to accept a grant in the amount of$228,129 from the State of Texas Governor's Homeland Security Grants Division for funding eligible under the FY2019 Department of Homeland Security Grant Program Operation Stonegarden to support state and local efforts to prevent terrorism and other catastrophic events and to prepare the nation for the threats and hazards that pose the greatest risk to the security of the United States. SECTION 2. In the event of loss or misuse of the Office of the Governor funds, the City of Corpus Christi assures that the funds will be returned to the Office of the Governor in full. SECTION 3. The City Manager or designee is authorized to apply for, accept, reject, alter or terminate the grant. SECTION 4.
