Lockwood, Andrews & Newman, Inc. for the North Beach Navigable Canal project
in an amount not to exceed $508,988 for Phase I services which include a
determination of the project scope and limits and whether or not the canal will
function as a major drainage facility and be navigable, located in City Council
District 1, with funding available from financial reserves within the Storm Water
Capital Funds.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The Fiscal Year 2020 Capital Improvement Program Budget adopted by
Ordinance 031870 is amended to increase the budget in the amount of $508,988 and
create the North Beach Navigable Canal Project 20277 with funding approved and
available from interest earning in Storm Water Capital Funds 3494, 3495, 3497, 3498,
4531 and 4540.
SECTION 2. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute a professional
services agreement with Lockwood, Andrews & Newman, Inc. (LAN) in the amount of
$508,988 for Phase 1 of Project 20277 North Beach Navigable Canal, which includes
finalizing the project scope and determining project limits, navigability and function as a
major drainage facility.
