beginning October 1, 2020 and ending September 30, 2021 with revenues in a total amount
of $6,817,421.00 and expenditures in a total amount of $7,560,613.00 to fund 63 authorized
Police sworn personnel and appropriating $7,560,613.00 in the Crime Control and
Prevention District Fund.
Whereas, the Crime Control and Prevention District Board held a public hearing on June
17, 2020 and the Board adopted FY 2020-2021 budget on the same day; and
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi held a public hearing on the
budget adopted by the board on July 28, 2020; and
Whereas, the notice of the Public hearing was published in a newspaper of general
circulation in the district not later than 10 days before the hearing.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS
Section 1. The FY 2021 budget for the Corpus Christi Crime Control and Prevention
District is approved.
Section 2. $7,560,613 is appropriated for expenditures in the Crime Control and
Prevention District Fund.
