BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents necessary to accept a grant from the Executive Office of the President, Office of National Drug Control Policy in an amount of $144,621 for the FY2019 High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Initiative to support the Police Department's role in the Texas Coastal Corridor Initiative in the FY 2019 Houston High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) for the salary and benefits of one civilian employee and overtime for four Corpus Christi Police Officers. SECTION 2.
