HomeMy WebLinkAbout032318 RES - 01/12/2021Resolution authorizing an Advance Funding Agreement (AFA) with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for the 2018 Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) that includes upgrading traffic signal components, existing traffic signals, safety lighting and pedestrian improvements at multiple locations Citywide, with City's required funding match of 10% in the amount of $120,000, with FY2021 funding available from Bond 2016 program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute an Advance Funding Agreement (AFA) for the 2018 Highway Safety Improvement Project with the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) and pay TXDOT the amount of $120,000 for reimbursement of direct state costs as the City's 10% match under the AFA. SECTION 2. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all related documents necessary to administer said Advance Funding Agreement, including minor amendments thereto.
