Declaration
WHEREAS, in accordance with Governor Greg Abbott's Executive Order dated October 7,
2020, Executive Order GA -32 (copy attached), which reads in relevant part,
5. For any outdoor gathering in excess of 10 people, including rafting, tubing, and
related services, other than those set forth above in paragraph Nos. 1, 3, or 4, the
gathering is prohibited unless the mayor of the city in which the gathering is held, or
the county judge in the case of a gathering in an unincorporated area, approves of
the gathering, and such approval can be made subject to certain conditions or
restrictions not inconsistent with this executive order.
NOW, therefore, pursuant to the powers vested in me as Mayor of the City of Corpus Christi,
I do hereby proclaim, approval is granted for United States Coast Guard Social Event at Cole
Park Pavilions, 2600 Ocean Dr., on February 25, 2021, in the City of Corpus Christi, Texas.
IN TESTIMONY THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand, and
caused to be affixed the Seal of the City of Corpus Christi on
February 19, 2021
