RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO SUBMIT A
COMPETITIVE FUNDING APPLICATION TO THE NATIONAL
TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION ADMINISTRATION
(NTIA) FOR BROADBAND INITIATIVES PROGRAM (BIP) AND
BROADBAND TECHNOLOGY OPPORTUNITIES PROGRAM FUND
(BTOP) UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT
ACT OF 2009 AND EXECUTE ALL RELATED DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorizedto submit a competitive
funding application to the National Telecommunications and Information Administration
(NTIA) for Broadband Initiatives Program (BIP) and Broadband Technology
Opportunities Program Fund (BTOP) under the American Recovery and Reinvestment
Act of 2009 and execute all related documents.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall take effect and be in full force immediately after its
adoption by the City Council.
