include Bond 2020 Propositions A, B, and C; appropriating $75,000,000 to
the Capital Budget, and amending the Capital Improvement Program by
adding 42 Bond 2020 Program projects.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The Corpus Christi FY2020-2021 Capital Budget adopted by Ordinance No.
032203 is amended to appropriate $75,000,000 and increase revenues and expenditures
by $75,000,000.
SECTION 2. The Corpus Christi FY2020-2021 Capital Budget adopted by Ordinance No.
032203 is amended to add 22 Proposition A street projects, 18 Proposition B park and
recreation projects and 2 Proposition C public safety projects that were approved in Bond
2020, shown in Exhibit A.
SECTION 3. Upon the written request of the Mayor or majority of the members of the
Council, copy attached, the City Council: (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the
need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City
affairs; and (2) suspends the City Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting
upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and takes effect
upon first reading as an emergency measure on this the 1(t;'\ day of

exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at
