HomeMy WebLinkAbout032583 ORD - 10/26/2021Ordinance accepting and appropriating three Federal Emergency Management Agency - Public Assistance reimbursement grants in the amounts of up to $4,315,109.40 (sidewalk project), $9,214,870.50 (channel project) and $49,841.92 (stormwater project) for the Packery Channel Restoration to the Parks and Storm Water CIP Funds; and awarding a construction contract to Callan Marine, Ltd., in an amount of $12,359,049.30 for the Packery Channel Restoration Project, located in Council District 4, with FY2022 funding available from the Parks, TIF2, and Storm Water CIP Funds. Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas: Section 1. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grant in the amount of $4,315,109.40 for the Packery Channel Sidewalk Project and the FEMA grant in the amount of $9,214,870.50 for the Packery Channel Restoration Project is accepted and appropriated in Fund No. 3280. Section 2. The FEMA grant in the amount of $49,841.92 for the Packery Channel Storm Sewer Project is accepted and appropriated in Fund No. 3480. Section 3. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute a construction contract with Callen Marine, Ltd. of Corpus Christi, Texas as the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the amount of $12,359,049.30 for the Packery Channel Restoration Project.
