PROJECT LOCATION: Museum of Science and History 1900 N.Chaparral Street Corpus Christi,TX 78401 SCOPE OF WORK: Project will address the current condition of the existing scuppers and downspouts and replace them with a system that will eliminate existing water leaks into the building. The scope of work includes replacement of existing downspouts, enlargement of some existing scuppers, addition of scupper conductor heads,replacement of existing recessed copper trim with brick,addition of concrete splash blocks,re-grading at perimeter of building,and miscellaneous modifications.(Refer to Exhibit"A"). The Project is to be substantially complete and ready for operation within 100 days. PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING: Time/ Date: 10:00 AM, Monday,April 15, 2019 Location: Museum of Science and History 1900 N. Chaparral Street Corpus Christi,TX 78401 PROPOSAL SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Proposal Due: 2:00 PM,Wednesday,April 24, 2019 Location: City Secretary's Office, City Hall, 1201 Leopard Street Corpus Christi,TX, 78401 BID OPENING: Time/ Date: 2:00 PM, Wednesday,April 24, 2019 Location: Engineering Services, 3rd Floor, Smart Board Room, City Hall 1201 Leopard Street Corpus Christi,TX, 78401 EVALUATION AND AWARD: The Task Order shall be awarded to the lowest responsible responsive bidder whose Proposal Package conforms in all material respects to the requirements and evaluation criteria set forth in the RFTOP and Master Agreement. Request for Task Order Proposal(RFTOP) 18173A-Museum of Science and History(FMAC) Page 1 of 2 SCANNED PRICING: Contractor shall submit a Proposal Package to construct and compete the improvements according to the Plans and Specifications (Refer to Exhibit"A"). Contractor shall submit a cost breakdown by division for the Base Bid and a separate cost breakdown per Additive Alternate.The City reserves the right to accept or reject all offers. Awarded Contractor shall submit required bonds within 3 days of Notice of Award. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES (LD's): LD's for construction shall be in the amount of$400 per day for each calendar day construction is not complete. LD's for administrative completion of all contract closeout shall be in the amount of $500 per calendar day for each day the closeout submissions and punch list is not complete within 30 calendar days from construction completion date. PROTECTION OF ADJACENT FACILITIES: Contractor is responsible for protecting all adjoining and adjacent structures, systems and finishes from damage during construction. Any such damage caused by the contractor's actions shall be corrected at no additional cost to the City.
