Squad Safety Enhancement for $28,704.80; and appropriating $189,547.47 in the FY
2022 Fire Grants Fund.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS THAT:
Section 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents
necessary to accept four grants totaling of $189,547.47 from the Texas Office of the
Governor — Homeland Security Grant Division, Homeland Security Grant Program for
Bomb Squad Detection for $70,940.40, AET Hazmat Response Enhancement for
$34,950.22, AET-CCPD SWAT Enhancement for $54,952.05, and AET-Bomb Squad
Safety Enhancement for $28,704.80
Section 2. $189,547.47 from the Texas Office of the Governor— Homeland Security
Grant Division, Homeland Security Grant Program is appropriated into the No. 1062 Fire
Grants Fund.
