State of Texas to cover the cost of a forensic sciences computer system under the
FY 2023 Paul Coverdell Forensic Sciences Improvement Grant.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council authorizes submission of the grant application to the State
of Texas under the FY 2023 Paul Coverdell Forensic Sciences in the amount of
$150,000.00.
SECTION 2. The City Manager or the City Manager's designee may apply for, accept,
reject, alter, or terminate the grant.
SECTION 3. In the event of the loss or misuse of these Office of the Governor funds, the
City of Corpus Christi assures that the funds will be returned to the State of Texas, Office
of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division in full.
