and appropriate the Revised Notice of Award of a grant contract for the Women,
Infants and Children Nutrition Program (WIC) in the amount of $113,000 for the contract period
October 1, 2021, through September 30, 2022, subject to appropriations from Health and
Human Services Commission.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas:
Section 1: The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents
necessary to accept and appropriate a grant from the Texas Health and Human
Services Commission ("HHS") under Contract No. HHS000802100001 in the amount
of $113,000, for the period October 1, 2021, through September 30, 2022, subject to
appropriations from HHS.
Section 2: The amendment will result in an increase in funding of the WIC grant total
to $1,118,493.00 for Fiscal Year 2022, with said amounts appropriated in No. 1066
Health Grant Fund.
That the foregoing ordinance was read for the first time and passed to its second reading on this
