traffic enforcement in the City with a City match of $46,247.50 in fringe
benefits and fuel expenses with funds available from the FY 2023
General Fund; and appropriating $184,929.55 in the Police Grants
Fund.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents
necessary to accept a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) in
the amount of $184,929.55 for the 2023 Comprehensive Selective Traffic Enforcement
Project (STEP) to increase traffic enforcement in the City, with a city match of $46,247.50
in fringe benefits and fuel expenses with funds available from the FY 2023 General Fund.
SECTION 2. That $184,929.55 is appropriated in the No. 1061 Police Grants Fund to
increase traffic enforcement in the City.
