Motion authorizing Amendment No. 1 to an existing professional services contract
awarded to Risa Weinberger & Associates, Inc., of Dallas, TX at the March 30, 2021,
City Council meeting, to provide conceptual design and permitting for a new Solid Waste
Compost Facility at the Cefe Valenzuela Landfill, located outside City limits, in an amount
of $61,561, for a total restated fee not to exceed $188,069 with FY 2023 funding
available from the Solid Waste Capital Fund. (Requires 2/3 Vote)
At a meeting of the City Council on 12/6/2022, this Motion was passed.

I, the Director of Financial Services of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly authorized
representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officers that the money required
for the current fiscal year's portion of the contract, agreement, obligation or expenditure described
below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from which it is to be drawn, and has
not been appropriated for any other purpose. Future payments are subject to annual appropriation
by the City Council.
