Motion approving a supply agreement for approximately 800,000 gallons of
HFRS-S (high-float-rapid-set) emulsion oil in accordance with Bid
Invitation No. BI-0005-91 with Elf Asphalt, Austin, Texas based on the low
bid of $576,000 subject to price adjustment. The term of the contract will
be twelve months with option to extend for up to an additiom~l twelve
months subject to the approval of the supplier and the City Manager or his
designee. The oil will be used by the Street Department in their seal
coating program. Funds were budgeted in FY 90-91.
