Motion authorizing agreements between the City of Corpus Christi and South Texas
Institute for the Arts, Inc., The Botanical and Nature Center of South Texas, Inc., and
Texas State Aquarium Association from October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023
wherein the City shall provide funding on a reimbursement basis through the FY 2022-23
Hotel Occupancy Tax Fund in a total amount not to exceed $375,000.00 to South Texas
Institute for the Arts, Inc., $70,000 to The Botanical and Nature Center of South Texas,
Inc., and $310,000.00 to Texas State Aquarium Association with funds available in the
Hotel Occupancy Tax Fund.
At a meeting of the City Council on 1/10/2023, this Motion was passed.

I, the Director of Financial Services of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly authorized
representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officers that the money required
for the current fiscal year's portion of the contract, agreement, obligation or expenditure described
below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from which it is to be drawn, and has
not been appropriated for any other purpose. Future payments are subject to annual appropriation
by the City Council.
