FOURTH AMENDMENT
TO THE
CDBG-CV SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI
AND
CORPUS CHRISTI HOPE HOUSE, INC.
This Fourth Amendment ("FOURTH Amendment") is made by and between the City of
Corpus Christi ("City") and Corpus Christi Hope House, Inc. ("Subrecipient").
WHEREAS, the City and the Subrecipient entered into an agreement in FY2019
("Agreement"), which was approved by the City Council on April 21, 2020, for the
purpose of utilizing the City's FY2019 Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus
Response ("CDBG-CV") Program funds for a project entitled Mortgage, Rental and Utility
Assistance Program ("Project"); and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to enter into this Fourth Amendment to express their
mutual desire to reaffirm all terms, conditions, and covenants stated in the original
Agreement and any prior amendments, to extend the compliance and termination dates
of the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto mutually agree as follows:
Section 1. By execution of this instrument, the parties agree to reaffirm and continue in
force all terms, conditions, and covenants stated in the original Agreement and prior
Amendments, as may be amended by the execution of this Fourth Amendment.
Section 2. Section 9.1 of the Agreement is hereby amended by increasing the funding
total by $369,455 for the FY2019 CDBG-CV Mortgage, Rental and Utility Assistance
Program from $500,000 to $869,455 total for the Program Year.
Section 3. The total program funds available for this Project as depicted in the "Exhibit
A" to the Agreement is hereby amended to show $869,455 as the total program funds
available for the FY2019 CDBG-CV Mortgage, Rental and Utility Assistance Program. A
revised "Exhibit A" is hereby attached hereto and incorporated herein as part of this
Fourth Amendment to the Agreement between the City and Corpus Christi Hope House,
Inc. All other terms, conditions, and covenants of the Agreement not changed by this
Fourth Amendment remain the same and in full force and effect.
