the Cefe Valenzuela Landfill in exchange for a monthly royalty payment;
providing for an effective date; and providing for publication.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or his designee ("City Manager"), is authorized to execute a
30 -year ground lease ("Lease"), with two five-year options to extend, with Corpus Christi
Renewables, LLC ("Lessee"), of Midland for the development, management, operation, and
sale of processed landfill gas at the Cefe Valenzuela Landfill in exchange for a monthly royalty
payment, as stated in the Lease.
SECTION 2. The Lease is effective, following execution by the City Manager, on the 61st day
following final approval of the City Council.
SECTION 3. The Lessee shall pay all newspaper publication costs associated with the
granting of this Lease, as required by the City Charter.
