Motion authorizing a one-year supply agreement with one additional one-year option with
Southern Ionics, Incorporated, of West Point, Mississippi, in an amount not to exceed
$1,679,000.00, and potential amount not to exceed $3,524,950.00 if the option period is
exercised, for Sodium Bisulfite for Corpus Christi Water, with FY 2023 funding of
$1,259,250.00 from the Wastewater Fund.

I, the Director of Financial Services of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly
authorized representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officers that
the money required for the current fiscal year's portion of the contract, agreement, obligation
or expenditure described below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from
which it is to be drawn, and has not been appropriated for any other purpose. Future payments
are subject to annual appropriation by the City Council.
