Health Grant Fund for an increase in the Tuberculosis Prevention and
Control Grant from the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) to
provide tuberculosis prevention and control services for the period
September 1, 2023, through August 31, 2024.
Whereas, the City Manager or designee (Director of the CCNCPHD) is authorized
to execute amendments to the grant contract which extend the contract period or increase
or decrease the grant amount; and
Whereas, the Texas Department of State Health Services has awarded an
additional $66,577.00 with a cash match of $13,315.00 for Contract No.
HHS001182200013 to provide tuberculosis prevention and control services.
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas:
SECTION 1. Funds in the amount of $66,577.00 and Cash Match of $13,315.00 is
appropriated in the No. 1066 Health Grants Fund to provide tuberculosis prevention and
control services.
SECTION 2. A copy of the executed health grant contract and amendments shall be filed
in the office of the City Secretary.

1, the Director of Financial Services of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly authorized

below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from which it is to be drawn, and has
