Grant Program administered by the Department of State Health Services
(DSHS) for the period September 1, 2023, through August 31, 2024, to
provide HIV surveillance and control services.
Whereas, the City Manager or designee (Director of the CCNCPHD) is
authorized to execute any future amendments to the grant contract which extend the
contract period or increase or decrease the grant amount; and
Whereas, the Texas Department of State Health Services has awarded an
additional $41,865.00 for Contract No. HHS001186300001 to provide HIV surveillance
and control services.
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas:
Section 1: Health Disparities Grant Program funds in the amount of $41,865.00 are
appropriated in Health Grants Fund 1066 to provide HIV surveillance and control services
for the period of September 1, 2023, through August 31, 2024.
