for $70,000.00 to the Texas General Land Office 2024
Beach Cleaning and Maintenance Assistance Program.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council authorizes the submission of the grant application to the
Texas General Land Office for $70,000.00 for funding available under the FY 2024 Beach
Cleaning and Maintenance Assistance Program to provide an annual reimbursement for
the City's beach cleaning and maintenance on North Padre Island and Mustang Island
expenditures.
SECTION 2. The City Council designates the Director of Parks & Recreation as the
grantee's authorized official. The authorized official may apply for, accept, reject, alter, or
terminate the grant.
