Hills Resources 2023 Helping Heroes Program to support the Corpus
Christi Fire Department's Technical Rescue Program; appropriating
funds in the amount of $10,000.00 to Fire Department Grants Fund;
and amending the operating budget.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents
necessary to accept a grant in the amount of $10,000.00 from Flint Hills Resources 2023
Helping Heroes Program for the Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD) Technical
Rescue program for participation in the ropes training through Texas A&M Engineering
Extension Service training classes.
SECTION 2. That $10,000.00 is appropriated in the No. 1061 Fire Department Grants
Fund from Flint Hills Resources 2023 Helping Heroes Program for the Corpus Christi Fire
Department (CCFD) Technical Rescue program for participation in the ropes training
through Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service training classes.
SECTION 3. That the 2022-2023 operating budget approved by Ordinance No. 032855
is amended to increase revenues and expenditures.
