amount of $45,640.00 for the FY 2023 High Intensity Drug Trafficking
Area Initiative (HIDTA) grant to fund overtime for two sworn officers
and lease payments on two vehicles; designating the Chief of Police
as the authorized official; and appropriating $45,640.00 in the Police
Grants Fund.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Chief of Police is designated as the Authorized Official to execute
all documents necessary to accept a grant from the Executive Office of the President,
Office of National Drug Control Policy for the FY 2023 HIDTA grant program to support
overtime pay for two sworn officers and lease payments on two vehicles.
SECTION 2. That $45,640.00 from this grant is appropriated in the No. 1061 Police
Grants Fund.
