CORPORATION AND TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY — CORPUS CHRISTI FOR INTERN
PROGRAM TO SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT shall become effective upon final signature, by and between The
CORPUS CHRISTI B CORPORATION, hereinafter referred to as the Corporation and TEXAS A&M
UNIVERSITY — CORPUS CHRISTI, a member of the Texas A&M University System, an agency of
the State of Texas hereinafter referred to as TAMU-CC, do hereby make and enter into this amendment
(the "Amendment") which, together with the Agreement with a term of January 1, 2023 through
December 31, 2023 for the Intern Program, which was approved by the Board of Directors of the
Corporation on November 14, 2022 (the "Agreement") and all other duly executed amendments,
constitutes the entire agreement between the Corporation and TAMU-CC.
I.
Subsection (a) of Section 3, Grant, is hereby amended to add $25,000 to the
maximum grant amount by deleting the subsection in its entirety and replacing it
as follows:
a. The Corporation will grant TAMU-CC an incentive of up to
$125,000.00, which must be used to fund up to $7.25 per hour the salary
for the interns during the Spring Semester of 2023, Summer Session in
2023, and the Fall Semester 2023, and the entire salary on two interns
hired to help administer the program during the Fall and Spring
Semesters and Summer Session. The interns will be paid at least$14.50
per hour, while participating in TAMU-CC's Small Business Employer
Intern Program.
The Corporation and the TAMU-CC agree to and shall abide by all terms and conditions of the original
Agreement and any amendments to that Agreement, to the extent they are not in conflict with the terms
of this Amendment.
