A quorum of the City Council may attend. If a quorum is present, this will be considered
an open, public meeting during the time a quorum is present. However, as a
governmental body, the City Council will not vote, order, decide, deliberate, or otherwise
take any Council action on any items discussed.
A. Ceremonial Items
1. 23-1711 a. Proclamation declaring the City of Corpus Christi's appreciation for
Senator Morgan LaMantia's service and leadership in the 88th Texas
Legislature.
b. Commendation recognizing Dora Martinez from Lorenzo De Zavala
Elementary School as October's Teacher of the Month.
c. Proclamation declaring October 23-31, 2023, as "Red Ribbon Week."
d. Proclamation declaring October 1, 2023, as "The First EMS Call in
Corpus Christi Day."
