Public Notice - - THE USE OF CELLULAR PHONES AND SOUND ACTIVATED PAGERS
ARE PROHIBITED IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS DURING MEETINGS OF THE
CITY C')UNCIL.
Members of the audience will be provided an opportunity to address the Council during
Public Comment. Please speak into the microphone located at the podium and state
your name and address. Your presentation will be limited to three minutes. If you have
a petition or other information pertaining to your subject, please present it to the City
Secretary.

Persons with disabilities who plan to attend this meeting and who may need auxiliary aids
or services are requested to contact the City Secretary's office (at 361-826-3105) at least
48 hours in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
A. Mayor Pro Tem Dan Suckley to call the meeting to order.
B. City Secretary Rebecca Huerta to call the roll of the required Charter Officers.
C. Public Testimony - Public testimony is limited to testimony concerning items
listed for action on the City Council agenda. You must sign up before the
meeting to speak during this public testimony period. Each speaker is limited to
a total of no more than 3 minutes per speaker. You will not be allowed to speak
again on an item when the Council is considering the item. Time limits may be
restricted further by the Mayor at any meeting. If you have a petition or other
information pertaining to your subject, please present it to the City Secretary.
Written comments may be submitted at cctexas.com/departments/city-secretary.
Electronic media that you would like to use may only be introduced into the City
system IF approved by the City's Information Technology (IT) Department at
least 24 hours prior to the Meeting. Please contact IT at 826-3211 to coordinate.
This is a public hearing for all items on this agenda.
D. Action Item
1. 23-1873 One -Reading Ordinance canvassing the returns and declaring the results
0 3 32 11 of a Special Election on November 7, 2023, for the purpose of
1 reauthorizing a sales and use tax as outlined in the proposition below; and
other matters in connection therewith.
