increase in the STD/HIV-DIS Prevention Services Program Grant from the
Department of State Health Services (DSHS) to provide STD/HIV prevention
and control services for calendar year 2024.
WHEREAS, the City Manager or designee (Director of the CCNCPHD) is
authorized to execute amendments to the grant contract which extend the contract period
or increase or decrease the grant amount; and
WHEREAS, the Texas Department of State Health Services has awarded an
additional $105,208.00 for Contract No. HHS001120300007 to provide STD/HIV
prevention and control services for calendar year 202'1.
BE i'f ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Funds in the amount of $105,208.00 is appropriated in the No. 1066 Health
Grants Fund to provide STD/HIV prevention and control services for calendar year 2024.
SECTION 2. A copy of the executed health grant contract and amendments shall be filed
in the office of the City Secretary.
